"Jingle-Jingle!"

Tom Jones. No, not the "What's new PussyCat" Tom Jones. I'm talking about Henry Fielding's Tom Jones. Due to what seems to be a lack of idea for plays, the John Abbott Theatre Department has decided that we should put this play on as the final production of the year. This just happens to be a parody that no one really gets. Now, perhaps it's because I've seen the show almost ten times at this point (and I am almost certain to see it at least another three times before closing night) or maybe I just don't like the way the play is written, or maybe I don't like these kind of plays, or maybe I just like to complain. Whatever the reason I've found myself not being the biggest fan of the play. However, besides myself and the actors, everyone else seems to love it. I could also just be bitter becuase I spent about 2 weeks working on a movable jail cell, that I'm accually proud of, and then it turns out that it's only on stage for a total of 30 seconds in the 2 hour play. I know this is part of the job, but geez!
