Who You Gonna Call? GHOSTBUSTERS!

It all started in the beginning of this month when my stagecraft teacher, Pierre showed up in class with a slide show and a movie all about derby racing and the aerodynamics of such an event. We all knew the project was oming long before these slide shows. But it didn't really hit us until thatmorning when we had to get into groups and decide on a design for a car. Yes we had to build a model car. Well, right away, alex and I knew that we'd be on the same team. Since it was a few days until Halloween, she was totally hyped up about her Ghostbusters costume. Naturally, she suggested the ECTO 1. Being somewhat of a ghostbusters fan I readily agreed. Then it was a question of who else was to be in our group since we needed a 4 person group. Andrew was looking at a few designs of cars, but once we asked him to join us, he accepted. Then it was us 3 who began to thinking up the design and what not. Simon gradually joined our group and as the weeks past and we came up with what I think is an exceptional model!




It was a pretty intense race. It came down to me and Stef's shoe.



While me and Stef bitch fought at the bottom of the ramp...


BUT IN THE END WE WON!!!!!!!!


We also won the award for best design! Ou competion was (in order from bottom to top) Grease Lightning,
Nightrider, Ghostbusters, Converse Shoe, Jolly Rodger, Batmobile, Fleur des Liesse....


It was an awsome race!
